Invitation to Expresss Interest

Who we are

Here at MUSIC24 we are a small not-for-profit organisation delivering music therapy services to adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and dementia to people living in and around Luton and Bedfordshire. Since starting in 2014 we have grown in a number of ways and feel we are now ready to not only increase the number of services we deliver but also register as a charity to support our work. We feel that the future for us here at MUSIC24 is exciting but also challenging.

What We Need

For this next part of our growth we are looking to create a strong HR partnership with a local company. Initially we would need help to review our current policies, in particular our equality and diversity policy and safeguarding policy and procedure, and create an appropriate constitution to ensure sound governance.  Along with this we will need to think about things such as introducing employment contracts and also the policies that this entails.

If you feel your HR service will be beneficial for us whilst delivering value then please let us know. We are looking at setting up initial meetings for the w/c 20 June 2016 so would therefore need any expressions of interest sent to us no later than 3pm on Wednesday 15 June 2016.

If when sending your expressions of interest you can include the following:

1.     A brief outline of who you are and what you do

2.     Any experience you have within the charity sector

3.     Any pricing structure / packages that you feel may be relevant to us.

We would like to thank you for your time in considering working with us. To express interest or if you have any further questions then please contact teela@music24.org.uk

Music24 on the L&D Wards

We’ve just received confirmation that Music24 will be running sessions on the Mental Health inpatient units at the L&D Hospital. This will further our partnership working with ELFT as we look to the future to provide the support that’s needed to offer opportunities to recover in the community. This will compliment our ‘recovery pathway’ with our new project, Music for the Mind.

Luton Social Prescription Accreditation

Luton Social Prescription Accreditation

Music24 has just been approved for Luton Social Prescription Accreditation! This scheme refers through GP surgeries through a ‘Community Navigator’ for non-medical interventions, like music therapy in our case. This is managed by LBC and Luton CCG for their ‘Better Together’ programme. For more information on this new local pilot scheme, please visit: http://changeday.nhs.uk/story101/ to find out more.
