There is strong and growing evidence that music can play an important role in our health and wellbeing.

Our music therapists and community musicians provide an important space for adults living with a range of conditions or illnesses to have moments of social connection. They also give them the chance for a much-needed creative outlet.

Mental health

We provide a creative outlet and a supportive network for adults living with a mental health problem.

Learning disabilities

We provide a space to build confidence, improve co-ordination, concentration, and social participation.

Dementia

We provide an important and safe space for those living with dementia and their carers to have moments of connection.

As well as supporting people through our inclusive, community groups above we also have a number of projects to help individuals with other needs such as our singing cafes for those at risk of social isolation or our Neurotones Choir for those living with a neuro-disability.

Singing cafes

We run a number of singing cafes open to anyone at risk of social isolation, especially older individuals.

Neurotones Choir

We use singing to help those affected by a neuro-disability such as stroke or Parkinson’s.
